Qualifications we offer
Level 3 Award in Education and Training
An entry qualification for anyone who wants to teach or train adults. It covers roles and responsibilities, planning inclusive sessions, delivering training and assessing learners. The ideal starting point for new trainers and our Train the Trainer route.
Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA)
The standard assessor qualification for people who assess learners both in the workplace and in classrooms, workshops or other training settings. You will learn the principles and practices of assessment, then assess occupational competence at work and vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in other environments.
Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice
For experienced assessors moving into an IQA role. You will plan sampling, observe assessors, standardise assessment decisions and support assessors to maintain quality within your centre.
Level 4 Award in the External Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice
For quality professionals who monitor centres on behalf of an awarding organisation. You will plan and carry out external quality assurance activity, evaluate centre systems and report on assessment quality.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need experience before starting?
For the Level 3 Award in Education and Training and the Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement, no prior qualification is needed. For the Level 4 IQA, you should already be a qualified assessor. For the Level 4 EQA, you should have assessment and quality assurance experience.
Can I study from outside the UK?
Yes. All study is online, and learners can join from any country.
Do I need learners to assess?
For the practical assessor and IQA qualifications, you will need access to real learners or assessors in your workplace. Contact us if you are unsure, and we will advise you on the right route.
